Welcome to this website dedicated to English football cards produced in the seasons 1965/66 to 1979/80. This period saw a range of cards, stickers and other memorabilia designed to attract the attention of, or extract a few pennies from, young boys, myself included. These cards are now quite collectable, and occasionally valuable. This website is designed to help nostalgia buffs relive some of the memories, and/or to assist collectors in identifying and building their collections. Use the left menu to select a season, or the right menus to select a manufacturer/issuer. The menus will take you to more details of the cards and, where available, to galleries of the cards. Some of the galleries also include special features to add to your recollections of these great teams and players. There are
approximately 25,516 cards or card-like items within the scope of this website.
Of these,
4,643 (18%) player or team
images are currently displayed on this website and 13,793 (54%) are recorded in set
checklists. The site is subject to on-going
