Cup double in 1960/61 Tottenham had a run of great success, always finishing in the top 8 in the League up to and including 1968/69 when they finished 6th. In the 1970s they enjoyed less success, culminating in relegation to Division Two in 1976/77.

Joined Tottenham from St.Mirren in 1964 for £23,000. Moved to Arsenal in October 1968, then to Ipswich, Stoke, Walsall and Crewe.
