Career began with Bury in 1963 before joining City in March 1966. Almost 400 appearances for City in a career lasting until 1978. Bath part-timer for eight years before joining Plymouth in 1964, aged 28. Joined City from Plymouth in July 1966. Finished career with City in 1973 after almost 250 appearances. Much traveled player who played for City more than for anyone else. Joined in March 1967, played 82 times, then moved on to Sheffield Wednesday in October 1969. Manchester born, joined City in 1962. Transferred to Preston in 1972 but career was pretty much over by then. Manchester born, began with City in 1960. Transferred to Oldham in 1970 after 181 appearances for City.

Yet another Manchester local. Over 400 appearances in a career with City until 1978 before transferring to Stoke City. Struggled for appearances in early career with Newcastle and Everton. Career settled at City with over 150 appearances with City between 1965 and 1972. Joined City in September 1965 but moved on to Fulham in February 1969 after 48 City appearances. Made only 6 appearances for first club City before a career with eight other clubs until 1979. Joined Swindon from City in 1968 for a Swindon club record 15,000. City legend, who had a good career with Bolton before joining City in October 1967. Finished playing career in 1975 with Derby County.

Keeper who had a short stay with City from 1967 to 1971. Moved on to Shrewsbury where he made over 350 appearances. Legend who made 562 appearances in a City career from 1959 to 1976. Moved to Chester in 1976 where he added another 200+ appearances, making him one of the greats. Played his entire career with City between 1961 and 1974, with over 300 appearances. Youngest ever City player on debut in 1962, aged 15. Played over 200 times for Swindon before moving to City in 1965. Over 350 appearances with City before a move to Burnley in June 1975. Over 300 appearances with City from 1961 until transferred to Preston in January 1972.
