He finished playing in 1971. | Began his Burnley playing career in 1962 and played over 200 games before moving on to Chesterfield in 1972. Returned to Turf Moor later in life as head groundsman. | Struggled to make first team squad at Burnley, moving on to Portsmouth in April 1970.
